Chatbase Multi-Channel Agent Deployment (Delivery)

  1. 01

Log into Chatbase dashboard and navigate to the 'AI Agents' section.

Click 'Create Agent' to start a new agent. Select the agent type: Chat, Email, or Voice.

  2. 02

Configure the agent's knowledge base by uploading training content.

In the 'Training' tab, upload PDFs, text files, or website URLs. The Free plan allows up to 1 MB; upgrade to Hobby or higher for larger datasets.

  3. 03

Set the agent's behavior and response style in the 'Settings' panel.

Define the agent's personality, tone, and fallback responses. Enable 'Human Handoff' if a live agent should take over when the AI cannot resolve.

  4. 04

Integrate the agent with your client's communication channels.

Use the 'Integrations' tab to connect to website chat widget, email (via SMTP), or voice (Twilio). For website, copy the embed code snippet provided.

  5. 05

Test the agent using the built-in preview tool.

In the 'Test' tab, simulate conversations to verify responses. Adjust training data or settings based on test outcomes.

  6. 06

Deploy the agent to production and monitor performance.

Activate the agent from the dashboard. Use the 'Analytics' tab to track message credits, resolution rates, and user satisfaction. For Enterprise plans, enable white-labeling to remove Chatbase branding.

  7. 07

Set up billing and usage alerts for the client's account.

In 'Billing', configure message credit limits and notifications. The Hobby plan includes 500 credits/month; Standard and higher plans scale up. Alert the client when approaching limits.
