Bardeen
Bardeen is a lead-generation automation platform that combines web scraping, AI research, contact enrichment, and qualification scoring into a single workflow. Users define scraping rules to extract prospect data from websites, run AI-powered searches to research leads, append validated contact information, and score prospects against custom ICP criteria. Results export directly to Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, HubSpot, or CSV. The platform is designed for sales, recruiting, and real estate teams that build targeted lead lists repeatedly and need to eliminate manual research and data-entry steps.
Bardeen is a lead-generation automation platform, priced at $10 a month on the Basic plan, integrating with Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion and HubSpot. InnovaAI rates it 3.7 of 10 for agency adoption, best for Account Executive, Business Development Manager and Operations Manager roles.
Agency Audit
Bardeen automates lead list building by combining web scraping, AI-powered research, contact enrichment, and qualification scoring, then exports directly to Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, or HubSpot. For agencies with dedicated business development or account management roles, this eliminates manual prospecting workflows. Best fit for teams running 5+ concurrent outbound campaigns or managing high-volume lead qualification cycles where research and data entry currently consume 8+ hours per week.

Illustrative scenario. Not a guarantee. Net capacity is the value of reclaimed time at $75/hr, less the lowest verified paid base plan (flat plan cost is shared). Hours saved come from the service estimate; implementation, taxes, and unprovided usage charges are excluded.
- Account Executive handling prospect list building and research
- Business Development Manager handling lead qualification and scoring
- Operations Manager handling contact enrichment and data validation
- Your agency relies entirely on inbound leads or client referrals and does not run outbound prospecting campaigns. Bardeen's ROI depends on active lead-generation workflows that run at least weekly.
- Your prospect data lives in proprietary or gated systems (e.g., custom CRM, legacy database) that Bardeen cannot scrape or integrate with. The tool's value collapses if your lead sources are not web-accessible or API-connected.
- Your team's lead qualification criteria change frequently or require deep domain expertise that AI cannot replicate. Bardeen's AI qualification works best for rules-based ICP scoring, not nuanced judgment calls.

4Your Operations or Business Development role manages lead qualification by hand, scoring prospects against ICP criteria in spreadsheets. Bardeen's AI qualification feature ranks leads by fit automatically, freeing that person for higher-value outreach strategy.
You run recruitment, real estate, or sales-driven service lines where building targeted prospect lists is a repeatable, high-frequency task. Bardeen's scraper templates and enrichment rows scale across multiple campaigns without proportional labor cost.
Your Account Executives spend 6+ hours per week manually researching prospect lists on LinkedIn, company websites, or industry directories. Bardeen's web scraper and AI search compress that research into template-based queries that run in minutes.
Your team exports lead data across multiple tools (HubSpot, Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion) and currently copy-pastes contact info between them. Bardeen's native integrations eliminate that manual sync step for every campaign.

4Your agency relies entirely on inbound leads or client referrals and does not run outbound prospecting campaigns. Bardeen's ROI depends on active lead-generation workflows that run at least weekly.
Your prospect data lives in proprietary or gated systems (e.g., custom CRM, legacy database) that Bardeen cannot scrape or integrate with. The tool's value collapses if your lead sources are not web-accessible or API-connected.
Your team's lead qualification criteria change frequently or require deep domain expertise that AI cannot replicate. Bardeen's AI qualification works best for rules-based ICP scoring, not nuanced judgment calls.
You have fewer than 2 team members running outbound campaigns. The per-seat cost and setup overhead do not justify adoption unless lead research is a core, recurring workflow for multiple roles.
Bottom Line
Bardeen automates lead list building by combining web scraping, AI-powered research, contact enrichment, and qualification scoring, then exports directly to Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, or HubSpot. For agencies with dedicated business development or account management roles, this eliminates manual prospecting workflows. Best fit for teams running 5+ concurrent outbound campaigns or managing high-volume lead qualification cycles where research and data entry currently consume 8+ hours per week.
Reality Check
Bardeen's value depends on your team's existing lead-sourcing volume and data-entry discipline. If your AEs source leads ad-hoc or rely on inbound only, adoption friction outweighs payback. Setup requires defining scraping rules and enrichment criteria upfront, which takes 4-6 hours per workflow before the tool saves time.

Why this category matters
The commercial case before the tooling.
Core concepts
The mental model you need to price and scope the work.
- Targeting Hypothesis OwnershipConcept
Lead generation tools are commodity infrastructure: contact databases, enrichment, firmographic filters, and list export are available to any agency with a credit card. The framework separates two agency postures. A reseller posture buys seats on platforms such as Leadinfo or Origami, exports lists against a client-supplied filter, and bills near tool cost plus a thin margin, which is why that work gets priced like software. An owner posture writes the targeting hypothesis first: which account, which trigger, which moment, and what disqualifies a lead. The tool then executes a decision the agency already made. Cleverly reports 224,000 leads and $51.2 million in client revenue, but the durable asset is the qualification logic, not the outreach volume. Agencies that document their scoring criteria can defend a retainer when the client asks why a cheaper list vendor cannot replace them.
- Qualification Scoring MoatConcept
Lead generation tools are commodity infrastructure: contact databases, enrichment, and export all converge on similar coverage and price. The durable agency asset is the qualification scoring layer that sits between a raw list and a booked meeting. A scoring model encodes what a good-fit buyer looks like for one client vertical, which signals matter (hiring velocity, funding events, tech stack changes), and which disqualifiers kill a lead before an SDR touches it. That logic is not sold by any vendor because it depends on the agency's accumulated client outcomes. Consider the contrast between a platform that surfaces 450M contacts and a service that delivers 10-30 pre-qualified meetings monthly: the second number is the one a client renews against. Agencies that own scoring can raise retainer prices as accuracy improves; agencies that resell seat access compete on the same list price as every other reseller.
- Signal Decay Half-LifeConcept
Every intent signal has a half-life: the window in which it still predicts a buying decision. A funding round, a job posting for a RevOps lead, or a website visit decays from actionable to noise in days or weeks, not quarters. Agencies that treat lead lists as durable inventory keep pitching prospects who already bought elsewhere. The framework forces a timestamp on every record and a re-verification cadence tied to signal type. Origami detects buying signals like funding events and job changes, then sequences outreach from a natural language ICP, which only pays off if the sequence fires inside the decay window. Leadinfo surfaces anonymous website visitors in real time, a signal measured in hours. Pair either with a qualification layer that scores recency, not just fit, and the targeting hypothesis stays alive long enough for a retainer to convert.
Decision and risk
How to judge the fit, and the ways it goes wrong.
- Lead Generation Tools Rule: Own the Targeting Hypothesis Before You Buy Contact DataEvaluation Rule
Define the trigger, the buyer, and the disqualifier in writing before you buy or renew a single prospecting seat, then let the tool execute a hypothesis you already own.
- When Contact Data Is a Commodity, Price the Qualification Layer Not the ListEvaluation Rule
Sell the qualification and routing layer as the deliverable, and treat contact data as a pass-through cost you minimize rather than a service you mark up.
- Lead Generation Tools Decision: Own the Targeting Framework vs Resell Tool AccessDecision Framework
IF your agency can articulate a specific buyer profile with a named trigger and a qualification score that a client's sales team accepts, THEN buy commodity lead generation tooling and sell the targeting hypothesis as the retainer deliverable. IF your only differentiator is access to a contact database or an outreach seat, THEN resell a white-label fulfillment partner and price the work as pass-through, because you are competing with every other agency holding the same subscription.

What agencies say about Bardeen
“Amazing product - reviews here are a scam”
Amazing product - reviews on here are a SCAM. Bardeen has fully transparent pricing (look at their website) and an A+ product.
Read on Trustpilot“I'm so thrilled with the Bardeen…”
I'm so thrilled with the Bardeen extension! It's been a time-saver, allowing me to consolidate several subscription tools and make my workflow smoother. Congratulations to the Bardeen team for their outstanding work - I'm sure they'll continue to grow and become even more significant successes!
Read on Trustpilot“Be aware free trial SCAM”
Now I know, bad companies that are unsure about their product/service offer a trial period with automatic payment, so that if for some reason you miss the email to cancel your pseudo subscription, you'll be stuck with it. This is the case with Bardeen, which uses free trial scam method. Good companies, confident in their model and product/service, do the opposite: at the end of the trial period, they ask you if you want to renew. This is not what Bardeen choose. More, the interface for accessing your account and canceling your subscription is a nightmare; everything is designed to make it as difficult as possible to find. Of course, Bardeen will not send you any mail prior to the automatic payment. They have so little confidence in their ability to sell ethically, by asking their customers, as good companies do. Last, their pricing is very expansive compare to what you can find now thanks to AI era. Way too many red flags I do not recommend this company.

Answers about pricing, setup, implementation
Bardeen automates lead generation by scraping prospect data from websites, researching leads via AI-powered web search, enriching records with validated contact information, and scoring leads against your ideal customer profile. It exports results to Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, HubSpot, or CSV, eliminating manual research and data-entry steps in your prospecting workflow.
Basic plan is $10 per month with 100 credits per month. Premium plan is $50 per month (or $40 per month billed annually) with 1000 credits per month. Enterprise plans are custom-quoted and include bulk credits, custom scraper building, and dedicated support. Additional credits are available as add-ons: $1 per scraper row, $1 per web search row, $3 per enrichment row, and $1 per AI tools row.
Account Executives save time on lead research and prospect list building. Business Development roles compress lead qualification and scoring workflows. Operations teams eliminate manual contact enrichment and data-entry tasks. Sales and recruiting agencies see the highest ROI because lead generation is a core, repeatable workflow for multiple team members.
For a single Account Executive running one active outbound campaign, expect 4-6 hours per week saved on research, scraping, and data entry. For a Business Development role managing qualification across multiple campaigns, savings reach 8-12 hours per week. Payback period is typically 2-3 weeks at the Premium plan level if your team currently spends 6+ hours per week on manual lead sourcing.
Bardeen integrates natively with HubSpot and exports to Google Sheets, Airtable, and Notion. If your CRM is one of these, leads flow directly into your existing system. If you use a different CRM, you can export to CSV and import manually, though this adds a step.
Initial setup takes 2-4 hours per workflow. You define scraping rules, enrichment criteria, and AI qualification scoring once, then Bardeen runs those templates repeatedly. After the first campaign, subsequent runs require minimal configuration, so setup cost amortizes quickly across multiple uses.
Your exported lead lists remain in Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, HubSpot, or CSV files. Bardeen does not lock data. You lose the ability to run new scrapes and enrichment, but all historical data you exported stays accessible in your tools.
Bardeen scrapes publicly accessible web pages. LinkedIn and other gated platforms require login and are not supported by the scraper. You can use Bardeen's AI web search feature to research prospects on public sources, but direct LinkedIn scraping is not available.
