  • Account Executive handling multi-platform social content scheduling
  • Project Manager handling evergreen content repurposing and recycling

Not Ideal If
  • Your agency creates bespoke, one-off social content for each client campaign and rarely reuses posts; the repurposing library and automation features will remain underutilized.
  • Your team relies on client-provided content calendars and publishes only 2-3 times per week per account; the scheduling overhead is too low to justify a dedicated tool.

OPERATIONAL FIT

Your Account Executives or Project Managers spend 3+ hours weekly manually scheduling client posts across 4+ platforms and copying captions between networks; MeetEdgar collapses that into bulk-upload and one-click multi-platform publish.

OPERATIONAL FIT

Your Strategist or Content Lead maintains an evergreen content library (case studies, testimonials, how-tos) that gets recycled monthly; the unlimited repurposing library eliminates re-writing the same post for each platform.

OPERATIONAL FIT

Your team manages 5+ client social accounts simultaneously and currently uses separate logins or browser tabs per platform; a unified dashboard cuts context-switching and reduces login fatigue.

OPERATIONAL FIT

Your Founder or Operations role needs real-time visibility into which social channels drive traffic or engagement; MeetEdgar's real-time analytics dashboard replaces manual spreadsheet tracking.

OPERATIONAL FIT

Your team publishes to niche platforms (Threads, Bluesky) alongside mainstream channels and currently lacks a unified scheduler; MeetEdgar supports all nine platforms in one interface.

CAUTION

Your agency creates bespoke, one-off social content for each client campaign and rarely reuses posts; the repurposing library and automation features will remain underutilized.

CAUTION

Your team relies on client-provided content calendars and publishes only 2-3 times per week per account; the scheduling overhead is too low to justify a dedicated tool.

CAUTION

Your social strategy requires real-time community engagement and rapid response posting; MeetEdgar is built for scheduled, evergreen content, not reactive social listening.

CAUTION

Your team uses a full-stack marketing platform (HubSpot, Marketo) that already includes social scheduling; adding MeetEdgar creates tool fragmentation and duplicate data entry.

CAUTION

Your budget cannot accommodate per-seat licensing; even the Eddie plan at $29.99/month becomes expensive across a 10-person team, and the Edgar plan ($49.99/month) for multi-account management scales quickly.

Bottom Line

MeetEdgar schedules posts across up to 25 social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, X, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube Shorts, Google Business Profile) from a single dashboard, with a limitless content library for repurposing evergreen posts and Inky AI-assisted caption generation. For digital agencies managing client social channels or running internal social presence, the platform consolidates multi-platform publishing and reduces manual scheduling overhead. Best fit for teams spending 5+ hours weekly on social content calendaring, caption writing, or cross-platform post distribution.

Reality Check

Trade-offs & Gotchas

Adoption requires discipline: team members must consistently feed the content library and establish posting cadences upfront, or the automation layer sits idle. The Inky AI credit system (15 credits on Eddie, 50 on Edgar) caps caption generation unless you purchase add-ons at $2.50 per 100 credits, making high-volume AI usage a variable cost.

Academy for MeetEdgar

Work through it in order: the course for this service first, then the modules behind it.

Core concepts

The mental model you need to price and scope the work.

  1. Revision Load CeilingConcept

Revision Load Ceiling treats the number of approval round-trips per post as the real constraint on how many client accounts an agency can hold, not seat count or scheduler throughput. A platform can publish to ten networks in one click, but if each post needs three client review cycles, the coordinator becomes the bottleneck and the retainer margin compresses. The framework asks one question before any migration: how many revisions does a typical post absorb across a representative client set? Platforms built around client-facing approval routing (Sked Social, Planable, HeyOrca) shorten that loop by letting clients comment inside the draft rather than over email, while bulk-scheduling tools (SocialPilot, Publer) cut production time but leave the approval loop untouched. With 87% of brands now cross-posting across multiple platforms, per-post revision counts multiply by channel count, so a two-revision post across five networks is ten client touchpoints. Measure revision load first, then decide whether the platform is the margin lever or the approval workflow is.

  2. Approval Latency TaxConcept

Approval Latency Tax is the hidden cost that accumulates every time a client review cycle stalls a scheduled post. The platform is rarely the bottleneck; the routing rules are. When a single approver sits on a draft for 48 hours, the agency absorbs the delay as unbilled coordination time, and the retainer margin compresses. The framework asks one question before any platform migration: how many handoffs does a post require, and who owns each one? A representative client set reveals the real number. Platforms with configurable approval chains and client-facing review links (Sked Social, Planable, HeyOrca) reduce the tax by making the client the approver inside the tool rather than over email. The 87% cross-posting rate reported in 2026 means most agencies now run this cycle across multiple channels per client, multiplying the tax. Measure approval latency per client before treating a new platform as a margin improvement.

  3. Coordination Time RatioConcept

Coordination Time Ratio measures the share of an agency's social retainer hours that go to moving work between people (briefing, chasing approvals, reformatting, reconciling version conflicts) rather than producing it. It matters because social retainers are priced on output, not effort: a platform that trims coordination from 30% to 15% of a 40-hour monthly retainer frees roughly six hours per client, which across ten accounts is a full-time hire's worth of capacity. The ratio is measurable before purchase. Run one representative client set through the current stack for two weeks and log every handoff. White-label reporting depth, approval routing, and per-client workspaces are the levers that move the number; Sendible's dedicated client workspaces and Sked Social's plan-approve-publish workspace exist precisely to compress those handoffs. Cross-posting expectations raise the stakes: with 87% of brands now active across multiple platforms, per-channel reformatting is the fastest-growing line in the coordination budget.

MeetEdgar Makes Content Scheduling Easy for Me

When I first found out about MeetEdgar, it stood out as one of the first content schedulers to feature reusable content. Over the years, it has evolved to include support for multiple platforms and even an AI content generator.

I love this platform!

I don't know why this platform has so many bad reviews, I have just started using it and I love it! The pricing is better than any other scheduling platform out there - I know because I spent days researching it. The platform is easy to use.

I've been using Edgar for years but…

I've been using Edgar for years but it's not great. One, at $49.99/mo. for the Edgar plan, I'm disappointed that my social media accounts are always disconnected. Every week when I log in, there's at least one account disconnected out of only 5 that I'm using. That's terrible!

Answers about pricing, setup, implementation

MeetEdgar schedules social media posts across nine platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, X, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube Shorts, Google Business Profile) from a single dashboard. It includes a limitless content library for repurposing evergreen posts, Inky AI-assisted caption generation, real-time analytics, and a unified social inbox for managing comments and messages across all accounts.

Eddie plan: $29.99/month (or $24.91/month annual). Edgar plan: $49.99/month (or $41.58/month annual). Eddie includes 5 social accounts, 10 weekly automations, and 15 Inky AI credits. Edgar includes 25 social accounts, 1,000 weekly automations, and 50 Inky AI credits. Additional social accounts cost $4.99/month (Eddie) or $2.99/month (Edgar) when billed monthly. Additional Inky credits are $2.50 per 100 credits. A 30-day free trial is available.

Account Executives save time on client social account setup and multi-platform publishing oversight. Project Managers use bulk scheduling to batch content creation into weekly sprints and reduce manual post distribution. Strategists and Content Leads leverage the unlimited repurposing library to recycle evergreen content without rewriting captions. Founders and Operations roles gain real-time analytics visibility to track social performance across client accounts.

For a team managing 5+ client accounts across 4+ platforms, expect 4-6 hours per week saved on scheduling, caption writing, and cross-platform distribution. A single Account Executive or Project Manager handling 3-5 accounts typically reclaims 2-3 hours weekly. Savings scale with content volume and platform count; teams publishing 20+ times per week per account see the highest ROI.

MeetEdgar does not publish a detailed integration roadmap in available documentation. It connects directly to nine social platforms and supports bulk content upload. If your team uses a CMS, project management tool, or marketing platform, verify integration availability before adopting.

Initial setup (connecting social accounts and inviting team members) takes 1-2 hours. Establishing content calendars and feeding the repurposing library requires 1-2 weeks of team discipline. Full adoption and habit formation typically occur within 4 weeks. No technical training is required; the interface is designed for non-technical users.

MeetEdgar documentation does not specify post recovery or export procedures upon cancellation. Before adopting, confirm with support whether scheduled posts remain live, revert to draft status, or are deleted, and whether you can export your content library.

MeetEdgar supports both internal agency social presence and client account management. The Edgar plan (25 accounts) is suitable for agencies managing multiple client channels. Team member invitations (up to 20 per plan) allow Account Executives to oversee client accounts without sharing login credentials.
