MediaCP Reseller Panel Provisioning (Onboarding)

   Confirm streaming engine credentials before touching the panel

   MediaCP does not supply SHOUTcast, Icecast, Wowza, or Flussonic servers. Collect host, port, and admin password for each engine the client will use, and record which engine maps to which station type so the reseller panel does not inherit a mismatched server.

   Create the client account in the MediaCP reseller panel

   Log in as super admin, open the reseller panel, and add the client as a sub-account. Assign the station allowance that matches the plan you sold: 1 station on the $12/month Audio Control Panel Single tier, up to 25 on the $19/month Starter tier, or unlimited on the $29/month Unlimited tier.

3. 03

   Bind the client domain and apply white-label branding

   Point the client's domain or subdomain at the panel, then replace the default logo, panel name, and colour scheme. The $12/month Single tier carries an MCP Linkback that cannot be removed, so quote that tier only to clients who accept visible MediaCP attribution.

4. 04

   Provision the first channel and set stream parameters

   Use channel management to create the radio or video channel, then set bitrate, listener limit, and stream metadata to the client's brand. Test playback on the assigned engine before handing credentials over, because a wrong port here surfaces as a dead stream on the client's launch day.

   Configure AutoDJ playlists and fallback audio

   Load the client's playlist into AutoDJ and set a fallback track so the stream never goes silent between live shows. Verify scheduled playlist rotation covers the client's full broadcast day, including overnight blocks the client will not monitor.

6. 06

   Wire WHMCS billing automation to the reseller account

   Connect the client's WHMCS instance so recurring invoices, suspensions, and reactivations fire automatically against the MediaCP account. Map each WHMCS product to the correct MediaCP plan so an upgrade from Starter to Unlimited does not require a manual panel edit.

7. 07

   Run the pre-handoff test pass and document the workflow

   Confirm simulcast to YouTube or Facebook, automated recording, and audience analytics all return data for the new channel. Then write the client-facing station management guide covering playlist uploads, listener stats, and who to contact when a stream drops.
